This is a sculptural notation of my improvisations on saxophone. I was then interested in the possibility of using theĀ 
objects to compose, using their physical properties to make decisions, rather than just to notate. I built four frames for the blocks to perform within and changed the composition of the objects daily. I tested the way the blocks could balance on different faces, made patterns with their colours, stacked them together, and experimented with how the blocks could interrupt the frames.
The transitioning composition was documented photographically on a monitor in an adjacent space.
