This is a collaborative work made with artist James Watts during a residency I ran for early career artists in the North East, where artists were paired off to make new work together. James and I wanted to explore the physicality of sound, and how to manipulate sound vibrations with vessels and tubes of different sizes and materials. We used found items from our studios and parts of musical instruments to build sound making sculptures and did an improvised sound performance with them in the space at Hoult's Yard.
